Jennifer Newton is an Australian, living in Coogee, NSW. Her unique ceramic pieces are all hand-made with white earthenware clay and fired locally. Each is one of a kind.

Jennifer builds her artworks with functionality in mind, and intends each piece to be savoured for its usefulness, as well as its design.

To individualise her pieces, Jennifer impresses natural and domestic objects from her surroundings into the surface of her ceramics and plays with engraving and relief work. Her pieces are irregular in shape and feature bold colour patterns.

I hope that anyone who takes home one of my pieces enjoys them as much as I enjoyed making them.
